HANDS OF PEACE

besides my alarm not going off and having to run across campus outside at 5:15am in workout clothes in a panic to catch my group to then go to to the middle school for PT today was great.

from 9am-5pm we were grouped with Maple2 and did HANDS OF PEACE training. We learned about more effective forms of communication, sharing and listening skills. This was different then other's because the proctors were our Team Leaders, when normally they are our Unity, Regional or District Leaders. We spent more time working on exercises using the techniques we are learning.  One of the challenges we had was to get together as a team and think of something we want to build yet no idea what materials we'd have if any. We were then handed a container with supplies and then told to build with out voicing directions. We chose to build a bridge to symbolize our team. I def feel after today we are more unified and a bit more understanding of each other yet there is still a lot of work to be done.
