This past weekend was great!
Friends and family drove into town and everyone I wanted to see and say goodbye to came to my farewell party this sunday.

Yesterday was the end of my procrastination on final packing. Almost everything was shipped but I still had clothes, shoes and random items. Got it all into one suitcase and it's under the required 50 pounds, phew!
Packing was a challenge, last week americorps started informing us we need to pack light. PACK LIGHT?! We're going for 10 months into weather I've never experienced and you want me to downsize? They informed us a tad too late, for I had already shipped 12 jackets/sweaters (but I wear them almost everyday here in Florida), worst case scenario I mail some back home. However, a few other members and I agreed upon 2 weeks of clothing as a guide for packing.
Tomorrow at 7:50am I will be on my way! It's crazy. Been counting down for months and now it's time...
