I never understood those lyrics by Savage Garden until recently.
Getting a chance to get to know my teammates, future friends, surrogate family through facebook, skype, text and phone calls has been amazing. I will walk off that plane in a new surrounding to only then be surrounded by people I already care for without ever physically meeting them before.

There have been a handful of new members added this past week and I honestly feel bad for them. To just now be thrown into the emotional rollercoaster of excitement, anxiousness, doubt, unknown and many other equally stressful feelings. I myself have had since mid October to sort everything out.
I was on the phone today for over an our with a girl from ohio who 4 days ago got her acceptance. She has not yet received her welcome packet and I read mine out to her and tried to not only answer her questions but give advice and guidance. Really hope I helped!
